A Cyber Security Specialist to assess and mitigate security risks, implement and manage security tools, monitor systems for threats, respond to breaches, develop policies, and collaborate with IT teams to protect organizational infrastructure. This role welcomes both seasoned experts and those starting their career in cybersecurity, offering flexible engagement as freelancers or consultants.
Main requirements:
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions
- Knowledge of penetration testing tools such as Metasploit and Burp Suite
- Experience managing security frameworks like ISO 27001/2, NIST, GDPR compliance
- Familiarity with network protocols, Windows and Linux operating systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Experience in threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and incident response
- Fluency in English both written and verbal
Responsibilities:
- Assess and mitigate security risks through vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
