As a Configuration Manager at Saab AB, you will handle and lead the configuration management for our systems/products. You'll work closely with project managers and system owners on change management and ensure product/system structures are approved and revision-controlled.
Main requirements:
  • Plan and implement configuration management processes and ensure compliance
  • Lead configuration change boards (CCB)
  • Document baselines at project decision points
  • Report configuration status for product information
  • Act as a point of contact for configuration issues internally and externally
  • Contribute to the development of company configuration management processes
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead configuration management activities for projects
  • Work closely with project managers and system owners on change management
  • Lead change forums to ensure product structures are approved and controlled
  • Handle structured information in Product Data Management systems
  • Ensure products are delivered with high quality and meet standards and customer requirements
Required hard skills:
  • Experience in configuration management for complex systems
  • Experience with system development
  • Experience handling structured information in Product Data Management (PDM) software
  • Technical education or equivalent work experience

  • Knowledge of revision and baseline documentation
