Seeking an independent and solution-oriented Workday Consultant to lead the practical implementation and configuration of Workday HCM for Denmark and Norway. Role involves planning, configuring, testing, and deployment to ensure successful go-live. Not a project management position but a hands-on implementer translating requirements into system configuration.
Main requirements:
  • Independent planning, configuration, and testing of Workday HCM for Denmark and Norway
  • Translate business requirements into Workday processes
  • Structure organizational data and configure access and security rules
  • Implement an established solution model with local adjustments
  • Ensure test strategy, test cases, and documentation for go/no-go decisions
  • Advise on best practices and sustainable configuration choices
  • Contribute to internal knowledge transfer and training support
Responsibilities:
  • Lead practical implementation and configuration of Workday HCM in new markets
  • Manage planning, testing, and deployment phases
  • Collaborate between business and IT to ensure solution fit
  • Maintain documentation and testing rigor for go-live readiness
  • Provide expert advice on configuration best practices
Required hard skills:
  • Workday HCM implementation experience
  • Strong knowledge of configuration, access management, and security modeling
  • Ability to drive test processes using structured methodologies
  • Experience collaborating between business and IT
Recommended hard skills:
  • Knowledge of Nordic languages
  • Understanding of HCM terminology in Danish/Norwegian
