Test Leader

As a Test Leader at Trafikverket, you will ensure the quality and testing processes of critical operational systems within an agile team, driving automation and quality awareness.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or engineering (180 ECTS), or equivalent education and professional experience
  • Several years of relevant work experience in system development roles such as test leader, tester, or requirements analyst in the last 5 years
  • Good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written communication
Responsibilities:
  • Lead both functional and technical testing efforts.
  • Analyze and specify test cases based on system understanding.
  • Plan all test activities including test strategies, execution, evaluation, and follow-up.
  • Drive test automation adoption using tools and frameworks.
  • Spread knowledge and learn from others to grow the organization.
  • Foster quality awareness in all development stages.
  • Work collaboratively in an agile team responsible for development, maintenance, and operation of critical systems.
Required hard skills:
  • System development and test leadership experience
  • Test case analysis and specification
  • Test planning and execution
  • Swedish language proficiency
Recommended hard skills:
  • ISTQB or other testing certification
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as SAFe or Scrum
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with test automation tools like SpecFlow, ReqnRoll, Cucumber, and TDD/BDD practices
