Our client is looking for a driven and curious Test Engineer to strengthen their development team in a start-up company specializing in PEM fuel cells for sustainable energy. The role involves hands-on work with cutting-edge fuel cells, including testing, prototype building, and development tasks in a fast-moving product development team. The position offers growth opportunities and requires experience in lab or workshop environments with a focus on electronic/electrochemical areas.
Main requirements:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Experience as a Test Engineer, Lab Technician or equivalent
  • Good hands-on workshop or laboratory experience in relevant electronic/electrochemical area
  • Independent, reliable, structured and self-reliant work approach
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for innovative electronic solutions
Responsibilities:
  • Executing performance, functional and environmental tests on fuel cells and fuel cell systems
  • Development and execution of exploratory test rigs and test benches
  • Management of external testing
  • Development and optimisation of testing capability and capacity including standard test procedures, instrumentation, and data post-processing
  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Prototype build-up including electronic soldering, laser welding, mechanical assembly
