System Technician with focus on IT Security

Main requirements:
  • Education in computer science, IT security or equivalent
  • Experience working with IT security in similar organizations or sectors
  • Knowledge and experience implementing and maintaining IT security solutions like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus, and encryption
  • Experience performing IT security risk assessments and implementing security measures
  • Proficiency in IT security tools such as SIEM systems, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools
  • Experience collaborating across departments to ensure organizational IT security
  • Experience handling IT security incidents and developing incident management plans
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of network services like DNS, DHCP
  • Experience with VMware virtualization, Nutanix, or AHV
  • Scripting skills, e.g., PowerShell or KQL
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively work with IT security solutions and further develop IT security
  • Manage operations and lifecycle of systems and clients
  • Participate in IT infrastructure development and create secure IT environments
  • Support other departments regarding IT security
  • Work independently and collaboratively on challenging and developmental projects
