System Technician with Coordinating Skills

A role for a social, solution-oriented technician who plans and coordinates system changes and implementation projects within Sollefteå Municipality's IT Service team. The job includes 2nd-line support, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and developing strategies to meet future business needs.
Main requirements:
  • Experience in IT, preferably in system operations, project management, or system analyst roles.
  • Completed upper secondary education; further education in systems science or related fields is preferred.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and lead meetings effectively.
  • Good understanding of system functionality to translate business needs into practical solutions considering regulatory requirements and economic possibilities.
  • Experience in change management and introduction of new systems.
  • Knowledge of established frameworks and methods equivalent to ITIL.
  • Understanding of regulations and standards related to EU directives, information security, GDPR.
  • Good ability to document processes, regulatory system requirements and compliance with EU directives.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with colleagues in the system group and meet with business units to plan change and implementation projects for business systems.
  • Develop strategies to meet future business needs.
  • Maintain daily operations with 2nd-line support and case management.
  • Collaborate internally within business units and externally with system providers.
  • Follow up and document changes and new implementations.
Required hard skills:
  • IT experience in system operations, project management, or systems analysis
  • Knowledge of ITIL or equivalent frameworks
  • Understanding of information security, GDPR, and EU directives
  • Documentation skills related to processes and regulatory requirements
