Support technician role at Gävle Municipality's IT and Development Department. Provide first and second line IT support to all municipal operations, ensuring smooth daily IT functions with strong customer and quality focus in a Microsoft-based environment.
Main requirements:
  • Upper secondary education with IT focus, YH IT education or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Win11), Active Directory, Microsoft 365 suite, Microsoft Teams and Outlook
  • Knowledge in networking/communication
  • B-driving license
  • Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Service-oriented and dedicated to helping others, with a pedagogical approach
  • Flexible, able to learn quickly, problem solver while maintaining long-term perspective
  • Ability to create a calm, stable, and positive attitude in all situations
Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second line support via phone, email, remote control, and on-site
  • Handle incidents and cases independently or escalate to specialists when needed
  • Prioritize, analyze and communicate solutions professionally and pedagogically
  • Support and guide users to ensure smooth IT technology function in daily operations
