As a Solution Architect at AFRY, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that meet business needs. Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful deliveries. Act as a technical leader actively participating in coding, architecture discussions, and technical decisions. Prepare technical documentation, architecture plans, and integration strategies. Evaluate new technologies and propose solutions that generate business value. Participate in code reviews to ensure technical quality and sustainability. Support sales and presales activities by producing technical solution proposals and engaging in customer dialogues.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software development, engineering physics or similar field.
  • 5+ years experience in software development with modern languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Node.js.
  • 2+ years experience as a solution architect or technical leader responsible for system design.
  • Experience building APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Good knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with containers (Docker), Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
  • Understanding of data modeling, data platforms, and integrations.
  • Experience working in environments with high security and reliability requirements.
