Service Area Manager Platform

The Service Area Manager Platform coordinates and oversees secure, robust, and functional IT platform services to meet organizational needs. This role leads service managers and IT specialists, ensuring plans and deliveries are executed, maintains dialogue with stakeholders and suppliers, and collaborates on management plans and budgeting. The position is based in Arboga with domestic travel.
Main requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Platform (Operations and Infrastructure) or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of recent experience in daily operations and design of IT infrastructure focusing on Platform.
  • At least two years of recent experience in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of common platform products in the market.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead service managers and IT specialists within the service area.
  • Ensure activities and deliveries are performed according to plan.
  • Engage in dialogue with internal operations and external suppliers to meet current and future needs.
  • Collaborate with other service area managers to maintain relevant management plans and budget follow-up.
Required hard skills:
  • IT infrastructure daily operations and design focusing on Platform.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of platform products.
  • Bilingual communication skills in Swedish and English.
