Project Manager Finance

A long-term assignment is available for an experienced digital project manager specializing in finance and economics. The role offers a central position in the organization's digital transformation, providing the opportunity to lead business-critical projects focused on developing the finance function. This one-year assignment starts at the end of August 2025 and concludes in August 2026, based in Stockholm on a full-time basis.
Main requirements:
- Minimum seven years documented experience as a digital project manager
- Experience working closely with development teams in digital and technical environments
- Good understanding of finance processes and their importance in a large organization
- Experience driving projects with structured governance towards steering groups and decision-makers
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in change management including coordinating multiple stakeholders and driving shared direction
- Good insight into agile methodologies and their application in large organizations
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategically important initiatives in collaboration with digital specialists and business representatives
- Work with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, business and solution architects
- Plan, drive and deliver projects from concept to finalized solutions
- Define project scope, establish realistic schedules and deliverables, and monitor milestones and quality
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and changes affecting project progress
- Maintain close dialogue with stakeholders including management and steering committees to ensure alignment
