Westermo is seeking a skilled Network Application Engineer to join their team and support customers in the energy sector by addressing data communication and cyber security needs. The role involves designing network solutions, collaborating with customers and internal teams, and providing technical support.
Main requirements:
  • Academic Degree in Engineering
  • Extensive knowledge of network technology and experience in designing and setting up networks
  • Strong understanding of data communication and cyber security principles
  • Fluent English and at least intermediate proficiency in Swedish
  • Willingness to travel approx. 6-10 times per year
Responsibilities:
  • Understand and analyze customer requirements related to data communication and cyber security in the energy sector
  • Design and set up robust network solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Act as a pre-sales engineer providing technical expertise and support
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of solutions
  • Travel to customer sites to provide on-site support and consultation
