Join to build a brand new system environment that makes a real difference. We are seeking a methodical and experienced Linux System Administrator to develop and operate a complex video system in a critical societal environment. As a Linux system administrator, you will be a key person in the new implementation of our Video Management System (VMS). You will help create a robust and maintainable IT environment running on RedHat and Ubuntu, with both in-house and third-party components.
Main requirements:
- Several years of experience managing systems in complex IT environments
- Experience working in large organizations with high demands on security, reliability, and cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems (RedHat/Ubuntu)
- Experience with Configuration Management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet or similar)
- Familiarity with container technology (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of complex systems with high availability and security requirements
- Up-to-date knowledge in IT and information security related to IT operations
- Fluent in Swedish (both spoken and written)
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the implementation of a new Video Management System (VMS)
- Design and develop overall solutions for Configuration Management
- Create a platform for producing and managing container-based images
- Develop and maintain CI/CD solutions for the entire customer system environment
- Collaborate closely with solution architects
Required hard skills:
- Linux system administration (RedHat and Ubuntu)
- Configuration Management tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Container technologies such as Docker
- CI/CD pipeline development and management
- IT and information security knowledge relevant to operations
