Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering high-quality IT solutions and support to SMBs across industries, seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join as team leader, working with customers' standardized Windows and some Linux environments, responsible for technical support, maintenance, and project services ensuring system availability, security and compliance.
Main requirements:
- 5-10 years practical experience in IT support or system/network administration, MSP experience is a bonus
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., WatchGuard, Fortinet, SonicWall)
- Knowledge of patch management, antivirus/EDR solutions, and MFA implementation
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity solutions (Azure AD, AD Connect)
- Experience with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Datto, Veeam, Acronis)
- Familiarity with RMM and PSA platforms (e.g., Halo, Atera, Ninja-One, PRTG)
- Good troubleshooting skills for servers, networks, and end-user devices
- Analytical ability to perform systematic troubleshooting and problem characterization independently
- Driver's license B for on-site customer work
- Good communication skills in Swedish, both written and spoken
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) and related services
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services
- Deploy and maintain SMB network infrastructure including routers, firewalls, wireless access points, VPN
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive
- Support virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (Azure)
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions (e.g., Veeam Backup and Replication)
- Monitor systems via RMM tools, respond to alerts, and resolve issues within defined SLAs
- Document technical work, network diagrams, and system configurations in PSA/RMM platforms
- Communicate effectively with customers explaining technical issues clearly in business terms
- Participate in rotating on-call schedules for support outside regular hours as needed
