Bankgirot is seeking an IT Technician for their growing organization in Stockholm. As a key player in Sweden's payment market undergoing major transformation, Bankgirot's IT department is expanding to develop future-proof solutions that comply with international standards and regulations. The role involves providing on-site user support, contributing to building a new Service Desk and Operations Center, and collaborating in creating tools, routines, and workflows for modern IT support.
Main requirements:
  • Experience in technical support, service desk, or onsite-support roles
  • Good understanding of Windows environments and client management
  • Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL processes
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365
  • Service-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Structured and solution-oriented work style
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Flexibility and initiative to contribute to building new working methods and routines
  • Good command of Swedish and English
  • Security clearance as per Swedish Security Protection Act (2018:585) before employment
Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site user support and handle incidents and service requests related to client environment and IT equipment
  • Install, troubleshoot, and configure computers, network equipment, and mobile devices
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and escalate complex cases as needed
  • Document processes according to current procedures
  • Participate in establishing the Operations Center by testing tools, developing routines, and improving workflows
