An IT support technician role focused on providing user support and troubleshooting IT issues within Karlskoga municipality's administration office.
Main requirements:
  • Higher education in IT/technology or equivalent experience
  • Several years of work experience in IT can replace formal education
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Possession of a B driver's license
  • Experience with PC, Chromebook, mobile devices, peripherals, and network installation and troubleshooting
  • Experience with remote installation and control systems for PCs
  • Experience managing Active Directory (AD) accounts and permissions
  • Managing digital users in systems like AD, MDM, and M365
  • Knowledge of mobile telephony and tablet services including MDM tools and SIM cards
Responsibilities:
  • Assist users with various IT problems via phone and ticketing systems
  • Diagnose root causes of IT issues
  • Visit users onsite within the municipality as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues and utilize shared documentation
  • Actively participate in the development of IT support services and deliveries
  • Occasionally work evening and weekend shifts during special periods
Required hard skills:
  • Installation and troubleshooting of PCs, Chromebooks, mobile phones, peripherals, and networks
  • Remote installation and remote control systems for PCs
  • Active Directory (AD) account and permission management
  • Handling digital users via AD, MDM, M365
  • Mobile telephony and tablet services management with MDM tools and SIM cards
