IT Technician in Virtual Workplace and Printing

Kriminalvården is expanding and seeking IT Technicians to strengthen their team focused on virtual workplace and printing services. This role involves supporting and maintaining thin clients, printing solutions, and related support systems to ensure a stable and efficient virtual working environment for users. Main requirements:
- Completed upper secondary school education or relevant experience as assessed by Kriminalvården
- Experience working as an IT technician
- Experience with in-depth troubleshooting of software and hardware
- Experience with thin clients, both software and hardware
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory
- Basic knowledge of networking
- Basic knowledge of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
- Ability to communicate well in spoken and written Swedish and English
- Ability to collaborate effectively, be responsive and communicative
- Responsible and proactive in managing tasks and processes
- Ability to work with complex problems and focus on results
- Shares Kriminalvården's fundamental values and demonstrates suitability for the role
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain thin clients and printing solutions within the virtual workplace environment
- Ensure the virtual work environment operates stably and efficiently for users
- Work closely with team members and external suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Drive improvements in service and processes

- IT technician experience

- Active Directory basics
- Networking basics
- PKI basics

- Relevant technical and system administration certifications
- Experience working with ITIL and PM3 frameworks

- Knowledge of network and server administration
