Nexer Group, a Swedish private and family-owned IT consulting company headquartered in Gothenburg, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their West Strategy unit. The role involves leading IT and digital transformation projects for various clients across industries, managing projects from initiation to delivery, and driving customers forward in their digital journeys. Main requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in project management of both small and large IT projects.
- Independent and team working experience with full project accountability from start to finish.
- Experience communicating with steering committees, management groups, third-party suppliers, and technical groups.
- Knowledge and experience in both traditional project management methodologies and agile methods.
- Relevant university degree.
- Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong engagement, relationship-building skills, and goal orientation.
- Understanding of and long-term commitment to a consulting career.
Responsibilities:
- Manage one or more projects, subprojects, or programs for clients.
- Lead projects from definition to final delivery.
- Help customers advance in their digital transformation journeys.
- Coordinate communication between various project stakeholders including leadership, suppliers, and technical teams.
Required hard skills:
- Project management in IT projects.
- Experience with traditional and agile project methodologies.
- Communication with senior leadership and external suppliers.
- Relevant university education.
