As a Firewall Technician at Svenska Kraftnät, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for ensuring a sustainable network infrastructure vital for Sweden's secure and reliable electricity supply. The role involves managing critical IT environment components such as firewalls, load balancers, mail gateways, IPAM, and DNS, and contributing to the development and operational improvements of the network environment.
Main requirements:
  • Several years of current experience with Checkpoint firewalls
  • Several years of experience with complex network environments involving firewalls
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Experience in IT security within networks
  • Relevant IT education or equivalent competence acquired otherwise
  • Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for operation of firewall environments, load balancers, mail gateways, IPAM and DNS as part of Svenska Kraftnät's critical IT infrastructure
  • Participate in development and change management of existing network environment
  • Engage in critical projects related to network infrastructure
  • Maintain ongoing documentation
