Cyber Security Penetration Tester

As a Cyber Security Penetration Tester at Together Tech, you will proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities by planning and executing penetration tests and vulnerability assessments. This role involves collaborating with development and IT teams to remediate security weaknesses and improve the protection of cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. The position offers opportunities to contribute expertise in long-term cyber security projects for various clients.
Main requirements:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proven experience in conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
  • Strong knowledge of network, system, and application security
  • Experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, or similar
  • Professional programming/scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash, JavaScript
  • Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructures such as Azure, AWS or similar
  • Understanding of cryptography and secure coding principles
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English and Swedish
  • Certifications like OSEP, OSWA, OSCE3 or equivalent are a plus
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and perform penetration tests on networks, applications, and systems
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and analyze results
  • Identify security weaknesses and recommend practical remediation steps
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to validate fixes and improvements
  • Support incident response by providing insights on attack vectors and vulnerabilities
  • Use and maintain security tools such as vulnerability scanners, exploitation frameworks, and monitoring systems
