Seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to establish and operate configuration management within an IT organization supporting public transportation digitalization initiatives. The role involves managing CMDB data quality and operating configuration management aligned with ITIL frameworks.
Main requirements:
  • Documented experience in operational configuration management.
  • Good knowledge of CMDB tools and IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, especially configuration and change management.
  • Ability to work precisely, structured, focusing on data quality.
  • Experience collaborating with technical and administrative functions.
  • Experience in documentation and change projects.
  • At least 4 years total work experience as Configuration Manager.
  • At least 3 previous assignments involving the full implementation lifecycle of tool support.
  • At least 4 years experience working with process management tools, process documentation, and data validation.
  • Documented experience from at least 3 implementation and establishment projects in large organizations across different business areas, including stakeholder requirement gathering and supporting requirements development for design and implementation.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality and currency of CMDB data.
  • Collect, register, and update configuration items (CI).
  • Support requirements specification and testing of CMDB platform.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, system owners, and vendors.
  • Design working methods, routines and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to training and communication within the area.
Required hard skills:
  • Operational experience in configuration management.
  • Knowledge of CMDB tools and IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework, especially configuration and change management.
  • Experience with process management tools, process documentation and data validation.
  • Experience in large-scale implementation projects and stakeholder requirements management.
Recommended hard skills:
  • ITIL V4 certification.
  • At least 3 years work experience in requirements-based testing.
  • At least 2 assignments involving data modeling similar to CSDM.
  • Experience supporting and participating in process-oriented trainings and demos.
Soft skills:
  • Ability to work carefully and structured.
  • Good collaboration skills across technical and administrative functions.
Natural languages:
  • Swedish (Proficient)
