We are looking for a Tester for an assignment at a government agency in Stockholm. This is a consulting assignment, full-time, requiring close collaboration with the client demanding flexibility and cooperation skills.
Main requirements:
  • At least 6 years of work experience as a tester.
  • At least 3 years full-time experience testing apps on iOS and/or Android devices, written in Kotlin and/or Swift.
  • At least 2 years experience manipulating and mocking data in complex backend systems via proxies.
  • At least 2 years experience with test tools, such as Xray (Jira) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year experience handling personal data under GDPR and Swedish public sector security regulations, verified through projects with high security requirements.
  • At least 1 year experience testing alternative input methods such as voice control and switch devices.
  • At least 1 year experience using tools for accessibility testing like Axe, VoiceOver (iOS), and TalkBack (Android).
  • At least 2 years experience evaluating iOS and/or Android apps against WCAG AA accessibility standards for users with visual or cognitive impairments.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute tests and evaluate test results.
  • Perform end-to-end testing.
  • Participate as part of an agile team promoting quality and testing focus.
  • Conduct accessibility tests such as WCAG AA compliance.
  • (Optionally) develop and execute API tests.
Required hard skills:
  • Mobile app testing on iOS and Android (Kotlin, Swift).
  • Data manipulation and mocking in backend systems using proxies.
  • Test management tools like Xray or Jira.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and public sector security requirements.
  • Accessibility testing tools: Axe, VoiceOver, TalkBack.
  • Application of WCAG AA standards.
Recommended hard skills:
  • ISEB/ISTQB certification.
  • At least 2 years documented experience in structured exploratory testing.
  • Documenting test cases.
  • Documented experience with API testing.
Soft skills:
  • Agile mindset familiar with Scrum and Kanban.
  • Ability to work independently and identify test needs.
  • Strong collaboration and flexibility skills.
