Join the Access Control QA team at Axis Communications as a Test Engineer focusing on cloud-based solutions. Collaborate closely with developers and product management to ensure quality through manual and automated testing of cloud applications. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices while supporting production monitoring and user experience.
Main requirements:
- Experience in manual testing of web/cloud applications
- Familiarity with test tools like Cypress, Playwright, Vitest, or Jest
- Programming or scripting experience (preferably TypeScript, Bash, or Python)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
- Good understanding of user experience from functional and aesthetic perspectives
- Interest in production monitoring, logs, metrics, and performance
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing of a cloud-based web application
- Monitor the health and behavior of the application in production
- Support test planning and execution throughout the development cycle
- Collaborate closely with developers and product management to improve quality
- Contribute to testing methods, tools, and continuous improvements of QA practices
- Ensure usability and reliability from a customer perspective
Required hard skills:
- Manual testing of web/cloud applications
