Test Automation Developer in Gothenburg

We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Test Automation Developer to start in September. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure quality, performance, and reliability of software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve test processes and increase automation in an agile environment.
Main requirements:
  • Experience in quality assurance for web and desktop applications
  • Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Power Automate, SOAPUI, Cypress or similar
  • Programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, C# or TypeScript
  • Good experience with CI/CD tools and version control like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of test methodologies, strategies and QA principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant higher education degree
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the area
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and robust test automation frameworks
  • Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product owners to ensure comprehensive testing and high quality
  • Analyze test results and manage identified anomalies with the development team
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tools and methods
Required hard skills:
  • Test automation tools (Selenium, Power Automate, SOAPUI, Cypress or equivalent)
  • Programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, TypeScript
  • CI/CD tools and version control: Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps
  • Quality assurance methodologies and principles
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, NX, Polarion)
  • Performance test tools such as JMeter
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent
  • Experience working in DevOps environment and agile methodologies
