Technical Project Manager

We are looking for a self-driven and proactive project manager to lead successful projects within Installation and Field Operations. You will be responsible for planning, resource allocation, and ensuring progress within your work package, focusing on meeting the main project's cost, time, and scope requirements. You will work closely with other project managers and engineers to ensure efficient and safe project execution. As a consultant with Randstad, you are employed by us but work at our clients. Main requirements:
  • Technical understanding and work experience in railway and signaling technology (1-3 years)
  • University degree or higher vocational education or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in project management or equivalent roles
  • Good knowledge of project planning tools and experience with advanced planning
  • Strong communication and diplomatic skills
  • Ability to work in multicultural environments
  • Persistence, accuracy and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take responsibility and drive projects forward
  • High computer skills and proficiency in Office suite
  • Fluent Swedish and English in speaking and writing
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and document activities related to the Installation & Field Operation subproject
  • Create schedules in collaboration with the commercial project manager and ensure correct resource allocation
  • Coordinate and ensure resources align with key stakeholders such as work package owners and engineers
  • Be responsible for work package scope, cost and schedule
  • Ensure all involved personnel have the right qualifications and authorizations
  • Report to project management and escalate issues as necessary
  • Follow up and report project progress in internal systems
  • Ensure all safety and commissioning activities are performed and properly documented
  • Participate in project and customer meetings as needed and ensure all KPIs are reported and followed up
  • Actively work to prevent disruptions and ensure high quality throughout the project
