An experienced Technical Project Manager is sought for a government agency in Norrköping to assist the lead project manager in a large implementation project within technical surveillance. The project aims to procure and implement a new solution comprising electronic monitoring both at home and in the community, combining software, hardware, and distributed equipment. The solution communicates via telecom networks and GPS technology and will be adapted to the specific needs of the client.
Main requirements:
  • Strong experience in technical project management within complex IT and technology projects
  • Very high technical understanding
  • Experience implementing solutions involving both software and hardware
  • Documented experience working within larger IT organizations
  • Experience leading implementation projects in collaboration with external suppliers, preferably with international connections
  • Proficient communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Completed project management training
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure supplier delivery meets all requirements and contractual conditions
  • Drive and manage technical dialogues with suppliers
  • Lead and support project team members in practical execution
  • Coordinate activities and collaborate with other subprojects and the IT department
  • Prepare for solution handover to operations together with the supplier
