Systems Engineer Defense Systems

We are seeking a Systems Engineer for an assignment with our customer in the defense industry. You will play a key role in the development of next-generation defense systems—where technology, security, and innovation meet in complex system solutions. Approved security clearance according to the Security Protection Act is required for the assignment.
Main requirements:
- Experience in system development or system engineering work
- Civil or university engineering degree, or equivalent experience
- Good technical understanding and ability to manage both overview and details
- Experience with tools and methods such as SysML, DOORS, Matlab, Simulink, C/C++, Python, INCOSE or experience with systems engineering methodology
- Experience in product development within mechanics, electronics and/or software
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Approved security clearance according to the Security Protection Act
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers and development teams throughout the product lifecycle—from requirements analysis to verification
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements and solutions in collaboration with software, hardware, and system developers
- Take technical ownership of parts of the system and analyze functionality and performance
- Participate as part of a cross-functional team using both established and new technologies
