Borlänge Municipality has high ambitions for providing modern, secure, and efficient IT workplaces to the entire municipal group. The IT Department under Business Support manages systems purchased by different units in the municipality to maximize their utility, provide good support and training to users, and work according to the municipality's system management model.
Main requirements:
  • Experience as a system administrator or relevant higher education.
  • Good proficiency with digital tools and business systems.
  • Experience managing e-diarium systems, specifically Evolution.
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish and English.
  • Ability to work independently, with structured and analytical approaches.
  • Ability to collaborate with managers and employees at various organizational levels.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide user support for managed systems.
  • Troubleshooting and incident handling.
  • Develop management plans.
  • Provide training to users.
  • Manage user access rights.
  • Handle invoicing related to the systems.
  • Conduct environmental scanning related to the systems.
  • Contribute to improvements and development.
  • Participate in system management groups for the regional and local E-archive.
Required hard skills:
  • System management experience with Evolution e-diarium system.
  • Good command of Swedish (spoken and written).
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Experience using digital and business systems.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with Artvise, Kaskelot, Netpublicator, Digitala Studion.
  • Knowledge of GDPR due to handling of sensitive personal data.
Soft skills:
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
  • Pedagogical abilities to train and support users.
  • Structured and analytical working style.
  • Problem-solving oriented.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
