Länsstyrelsernas IT department is undergoing an exciting development phase focusing on digitalization, innovative solutions, and security and preparedness issues. The IT environment includes modern infrastructure and self-developed systems that benefit society. The department serves all 21 county administrative boards in Sweden. This role involves working independently and closely with the organization as part of a successful team responsible for the operation and development of the Windows client environment and third-line support, mainly based on Microsoft's infrastructure components. The position offers flexibility, including possibilities for remote work.
Main requirements:
- Higher education in IT or equivalent documented skills gained otherwise
- Good knowledge of Powershell
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems
- Ability to systematically analyze, troubleshoot and optimize existing systems
Responsibilities:
- Operate and develop the Windows client environment
- Provide third-line support
- Drive innovation with focus on security, reliability, and availability
- Conduct continuous monitoring of external developments to explore new solutions
- Implement automation, security updates, and ongoing improvements
