The IT department at the County Administrative Boards is in an exciting development phase focusing on digitalization, innovative solutions, and security and preparedness issues. The IT environment is extensive and varied, including modern infrastructure and proprietary systems, benefiting society at large. The IT department works nationally for all 21 County Administrative Boards in Sweden. The role involves independent and close-to-business work in a successful team responsible for the operation and development of the Windows client environment and third-line support, with an emphasis on Microsoft's infrastructure components, continuous innovation, security, reliability, and availability. The position offers flexible work with options for remote work part-time and is based in Gothenburg, Karlstad, Vänersborg, Mariestad, or by agreement.
Main requirements:
- Higher education in IT or documented equivalent experience
- Good knowledge of PowerShell
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems
- Strong ability to systematically analyze, troubleshoot and optimize existing systems
Responsibilities:
- Operate and develop the Windows client environment
- Provide third-line support
- Drive innovation with a strong focus on security, reliability and availability
- Perform continuous improvements and security updates
- Conduct continuous environmental scanning to stay updated
