System Developer

As a System Developer, you will work in self-driven, responsible, and initiative-taking agile teams to develop and maintain systems with a focus on stability, utility, and quality, contributing to the security and safety of Swedish society.
Main requirements:
  • University or college education in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent competence acquired otherwise.
  • A couple of years of professional experience in system development with Java.
  • Experience working with relational databases (MS SQL and/or IBM Informix) from a developer perspective.
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain systems in traditional three-tier and microservice-based architectures.
  • Support the business in formulating requirements.
  • Collaborate daily in agile teams, addressing work progress and obstacles.
  • Convert business needs into technical solutions.
  • Test and document new features.
  • Improve system performance focusing on stability, utility, and quality.
Required hard skills:
  • Java programming
  • Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL and IBM Informix
  • Swedish language proficiency (spoken and written)
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience working with microservices
  • Experience with React and/or REST
  • Experience with Git and/or GitLab
  • Systematic documentation of solutions
