System Developer for Digital Identity Wallet

We are seeking experienced backend developers passionate about security at every step to join our new team developing the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW) under the Swedish Digital Agency (Digg). The role involves building secure and scalable digital infrastructure for public and private services, working in agile teams, and contributing throughout the service life cycle.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of Java development experience
  • Experience developing security functions
  • Experience in agile software development
  • Proficient in written and spoken Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain secure backend services for digital identity applications
  • Collaborate closely with architects, UX designers, and internal stakeholders to define requirements
  • Participate in all phases from new development to lifecycle support of services
  • Work in agile development teams with shared responsibility for products
