System and Software Tester

The Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet) is seeking a driven system and software tester for the Prisma management system on a temporary part-time basis. Prisma is an application and case management system used by multiple government agencies.
Main requirements:
  • Current and relevant experience working as a software tester
  • Post-secondary education in IT
  • Current knowledge of system flows, regression testing, and negative testing
  • Current and relevant experience with Jira Software and the Testray plugin
  • Current and relevant experience testing web-based systems
  • Current and relevant experience with Formpipe Platina
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze requirements and execute tests based on development issues in Jira Software
  • Design and detail test cases in Testray
  • Report found defects and perform retesting
  • Support system users during acceptance testing of new functionality
  • Perform regression testing before production deployment
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with Jira Software and Testray plugin
  • Experience testing web-based systems
  • Knowledge of system flows, regression testing, and negative testing
  • Experience with Formpipe Platina
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with Prisma system
