As a System Administrator at Mälardalen University (MDU), you will lead IT development management ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will be responsible for management leadership, lifecycle handling, project management, and translating needs into development initiatives within the IT area.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant academic degree in system administration or equivalent work experience
  • Current and relevant experience in management of IT system administration
  • Documented experience in lifecycle management, project management, and requirement specification within IT
  • Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Good technical understanding relevant to the role
Responsibilities:
  • Capturing and converting organizational needs into concrete proposals and development initiatives
  • Analyzing and structuring information to create solutions based on actual needs
  • Communicating and tailoring messages to various target groups
  • Building trust and collaborating with internal teams and external contacts
  • Representing, presenting, and communicating priorities and messages
  • Driving forward dialogues with strategic attentiveness
  • Influencing, improving and developing digital support within the organization
