Support Technician 2nd line at IT-Centrum, responsible for handling varied IT support tasks across five collaborating municipalities, focusing on user support, problem resolution, and technical administration to enable effective digital solutions.
Main requirements:
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating system and Office package
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Engaged, flexible, and service-oriented
  • Enjoy problem-solving and be solution-focused
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple active cases
  • Proficient communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Possession of a valid B driving license
Responsibilities:
  • Handle cases in the issue management system and during on-site visits
  • Troubleshoot issues remotely using remote tools
  • Follow up and provide feedback on ongoing cases
  • Visit users on-site when remote support is insufficient
  • Troubleshoot user hardware such as PCs, iPhones, iPads
  • Manage devices via management tools and troubleshoot installations of operating systems and software
  • Participate as a technical resource in meetings with business units and suppliers
  • Provide support primarily via helpdesk phone and online forms, as well as direct user meetings by appointment
