Seeking a Support Specialist with strong technical interest and experience in delivering quality IT support. The role involves first-line support via phone, ticketing systems, and in-person at the University West service center. The position requires working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with shared decision-making. The job is a 6-month full-time consultancy with placement in Trollhättan, Sweden, starting in October.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant completed academic education in IT
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role such as IT support or first-line support
  • Experience in customer service in a service profession
  • Good knowledge of Windows environments, Office 365, and MacOS environments
  • Very good IT support skills
  • Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line support via phone, ticketing system, and onsite visits at the University West service center
  • Support the entire organization with broad and varied tasks
  • Rotate responsibility among support channels
  • Act as support function for student workers
