The Support and IT Technician works within the Helpdesk, focusing on problem-solving, troubleshooting, and support tasks. The position mainly involves helpdesk duties, but may also include workplace support responsibilities. The role requires collaboration, good communication skills, and service orientation, with a focus on supporting the university's IT infrastructure and users.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide problem solving, troubleshooting and support in Helpdesk
  • Perform workplace support including troubleshooting in lecture halls and offices
  • Install and troubleshoot personnel and computer lab computers
  • Resolve printer issues including toner replacement
  • Support digital and hybrid lectures
  • Handle account administration, telephony, and IT accessory distribution
  • Work using a ticket management system
