An opportunity for students studying Information Systems or Computer Engineering to gain relevant work experience in system development within the IT operations at Statistics Sweden (SCB). The role involves working with experienced mentors on varied development tasks, contributing to efficient IT system solutions, and gaining insight into several parts of SCB's operations. Part-time position, suited for students nearing the completion of their academic studies.
Main requirements:
- Currently studying Information Systems or Computer Engineering with 1-2 (max 3) semesters remaining before planned graduation
- Continuing studies during autumn 2025
- Programming knowledge
- Good ability to express oneself well in spoken and written Swedish
- Experience with development work involving SSYK (Swedish Standard Classification of Occupations) tool
- Experience with Talaria - import module for broadcasts
- Experience with Gaia/Atlas - subsystems for securities holdings and credits
- Experience with the visitor statistics tool in SSD
- Experience with IT security case management
Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in development projects in a team setting
- Develop effective solutions for SCB’s IT systems
- Gain insights into multiple areas of SCB’s operations
- Work under supervision and guidance from experienced mentors
- Contribute to both independent and collaborative tasks
Required hard skills:
- Programming skills
- Experience with SSYK tool
- Experience with Talaria import module
- Experience with Gaia/Atlas subsystems
- Experience with SSD visitor statistics tool
- Experience in IT security case management
