Join SSAB as an IT Specialist to support and maintain technological operations across mills and offices in Poland, helping drive the company's transformation towards producing fossil-free steel. This role involves on-site IT support, managing Windows systems, Office 365, networking, and servers, ensuring seamless technology infrastructure to support SSAB's leadership in the steel industry.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Office 365 administration
  • Experience with server management, networking configurations and protocols
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and IT service management processes
  • Fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness for domestic travel and occasional international travel
Responsibilities:
  • Provide immediate on-site IT support including hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows desktops and servers
  • Administer Office 365 suite including Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Manage networking infrastructure including LANs, WLANs, and IP configurations
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows servers to ensure data availability and security
  • Apply ITIL best practices in daily IT service operations
  • Use ticketing system (ServiceNow) for incident, request, and change management
  • Engage directly with end-users to deliver timely IT solutions
  • Travel regularly to various SSAB sites in Poland and Czech Republic to provide IT support
