Join VIPAS AB in Stockholm as a Solution Architect to design and manage next-generation cloud-based network solutions. This role involves transforming legacy networks, ensuring compliance with architectural guidelines, and driving network automation and innovation within a fast-paced tech environment.
Main requirements:
  • Extensive experience in network design and architecture.
  • Proficient in both high and low-level network designs.
  • Expertise in planning, designing, and managing global WAN networks at ISP or enterprise level.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable network services.
  • Hands-on experience with routing, switching, WAN optimization, MP-BGP, Ethernet QoS, DMVPN, and VPLS.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking and multicloud connectivity solutions.
  • Familiarity with network security technologies including IPS, proxy, firewall, reverse-proxy, load balancing, and VPNs.
  • Experience with micro-segmentation, profiling, IP networking, SD-WAN, and SD-LAN.
  • Proficient in network automation, programming, and scripting (Python, Ansible, Git).
  • Hands-on experience with APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience working in Cisco and Aruba network environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of network solutions aligned with business initiatives.
  • Transform legacy networks into Network-as-a-Code models with advanced service layers.
  • Ensure adherence to architectural policies and guidelines consistent with the roadmap.
  • Document service design packages, descriptions, guidelines, processes, and routines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide expert network architecture that meets business requirements.
  • Contribute to Domain and Product Area strategy and OKRs.
  • Drive cost efficiency and automation using emerging service-layer networking technologies.
  • Provide technical engineering expertise and best practices for network management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, evaluate and recommend relevant advancements.
  • Identify and address structural issues, functional interdependencies, and redundancies within the organization.
  • Proactively solve challenges, drive innovation, and support business growth.
