Solution Architect

Svenska Kraftnät is looking for a Solution Architect to support the significant expansion of the transmission network by developing IT solutions that align with organizational goals and architectural principles. The role involves collaborating with development and management teams to ensure IT systems effectively support project activities related to physical infrastructure projects.

  • Experience integrating purchased systems with custom applications into comprehensive solutions supporting business needs
  • Work experience in system design or similar architecture roles using established methods, tools, and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure IT solutions fit Svenska Kraftnät's IT environment and meet business needs and quality requirements
  • Ensure compliance with target architecture, architectural principles, and IT security architecture
  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements as well as strategic perspectives and goals
  • Evaluate and recommend working methods, processes, and product selections
  • Participate in information classification, system classification, and risk and vulnerability analyses
  • Recommend suitable paths forward to achieve both project and strategic goals
  • Develop IT architecture and design solutions that efficiently and securely support the area of physical infrastructure projects
  • Participate in discussions and planning with development and management teams and maintain dialogue with business specialists
  • Prepare architectural descriptions and present in IT architecture forums
Required hard skills:
