Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in software engineering auditing and governance.
  • Expertise in methodologies and tools specific to software engineering, including code quality assessment and compliance with design methodologies.
  • Proficiency with IEEE15288/IEEE12207 and other software engineering standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Recognized expert with a track record of driving and implementing best practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of engineering processes related to software development including findings, issues, and recommendations.
  • Evaluate code quality, compliance with design methodologies, and efficiency of tools and processes.
  • Drive and implement best practices in software engineering governance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the implementation and monitoring of audit recommendations.
  • Develop and deliver training and workshops to promote best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance process quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
