Software Engineer - AWS Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Platform team in Gothenburg at Etraveli Group AB. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud environments and infrastructure-as-code for a leading global online flight sales tech company.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer with cloud infrastructure design and deployment focus.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and containerization.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, security groups).
  • Familiarity with AWS monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, OpenSearch.
  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, design, and implement AWS cloud environments and AWS Landing Zone.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to translate system requirements into cloud infrastructure.
  • Provision, configure, and manage AWS resources using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code best practices for efficient resource provisioning.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of AWS environments using DevOps tools.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement robust security controls in collaboration with security teams.
  • Troubleshoot AWS infrastructure, networking, and application deployment issues.
  • Stay updated with latest AWS features and evaluate their impact.
  • Document AWS architecture, configurations, and processes for knowledge sharing.
