An experienced engineer, physicist, or applied mathematician with a strong background in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to join the development team at COMSOL AB in Stockholm, focusing on CFD software development and support.
Main requirements:
- Ph.D. in engineering, physical sciences, or applied mathematics specializing in fluid mechanics
- Experience in software development
- Strong interest in mathematical modeling and computational physics
Responsibilities:
- Develop new functionalities in COMSOL Multiphysics fluid flow and heat transfer modules
- Maintain existing software features
- Contribute to marketing plans
- Support global sales efforts
- Occasional travel to Europe, Asia, and the U.S. for sales and marketing support
Required hard skills:
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Expertise in turbulent flow, multiphase flow, flow in rotating machinery, non-Newtonian fluids, nonisothermal flow, reacting flow
- Finite element methods
