A role focused on the administration, maintenance, and development of the ServiceNow platform for a Swedish government agency dedicated to supporting defense and security.
Main requirements:
  • Completed university or college education in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with ServiceNow as an administrator or developer.
  • Experience in development and maintenance of IT systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Daily operation and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Planning and executing upgrades, patching, and cloning following ServiceNow best practices.
  • Deliver manageable solutions that ensure effective operation and meet the agency's requirements for security, stability, and performance in an on-premises environment.
  • Maintain system documentation related to your area.
  • Support incident and problem management.
  • Assist developers with requirements and configurations.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations organization.
Required hard skills:
  • ServiceNow administration and development experience (minimum 2 years).
  • Experience in development and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Ability to perform upgrades, patching and cloning in ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of maintaining system documentation.
  • Experience with incident and problem management procedures.
Recommended hard skills:
  • ServiceNow certifications.
  • Experience working as a platform administrator in ServiceNow.
  • Experience with ServiceNow in an on-premises (self-hosted) environment.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system.
  • Experience with MariaDB and/or MySQL databases.
  • Experience creating and managing IT system documentation.
  • Experience with information security work and related documentation.
  • Knowledge of ITIL 4 framework.
