Service-oriented Support Technician

Region Västerbotten is looking for a technically skilled and socially adept support technician to provide first-line IT support. The role involves troubleshooting, software installation, and order handling to support healthcare IT systems across Västerbotten, contributing directly to efficient and quality care delivery.
Main requirements:
- Genuine interest in IT support and digitalization in healthcare.
- Ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Good basic technical competence.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across different organizational levels, including external suppliers and stakeholders.
- Initiative and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Relevant secondary or post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support via phone and ticket systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
- Install applications and software.
- Handle IT-related orders.
- Be available for on-call duties (standby).
- Adapt to changing primary tasks as needed.
