We are seeking a Senior Specialist in test automation and software verification to strengthen one of our development teams. The role focuses on the development and maintenance of an automated test framework used in a safety-critical system with a strong connection to regulated environments and high-quality demands. You will have overall responsibility for the test automation solution and actively contribute to verification within the team. You will work closely with product development and influence quality assurance from strategy to concrete implementation.
Main requirements:
  • Several years of practical experience in test automation with responsibility for a framework
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments
  • Experience with Squish (Qt) is meritorious but not mandatory
  • Understanding of the entire test process from requirement analysis to verification and reporting
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams using agile methods like Scrum or Kanban
  • Previous experience in highly regulated industries such as medical technology or embedded systems is a significant plus
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and further develop the existing test automation framework based on Python and Squish (Qt)
  • Create, maintain, and optimize automated test cases
  • Actively participate in the team’s test strategy and selection of technical verification solutions
  • Support and onboard team members especially in the testing area
  • Lead test activities within the team including planning, follow-up, and communication
