Senior Python Developer with a focus on data-driven systems and cloud infrastructure. We seek an experienced and technically skilled developer with solid competence in Python and a genuine interest in complex, data-heavy systems where cloud technology, computations, and intelligent algorithms interact.
Main requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of Python with extensive experience writing optimized, executable code, preferably with integration to C libraries.
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with relevant knowledge of AWS or Azure also considered.
  • Understanding of data-driven decision making and building sustainable, scalable, and integrable systems.
  • Ability to work independently as a senior developer and thrive in teamwork where collaboration is central.
  • Experience from complex technical environments with multiple dependencies across data sources, backend logic, and critical business algorithms.
Responsibilities:
  • Work centrally in a high-tech team building a connected system landscape with modern technologies.
  • Develop backend in Python focusing on performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with ML Engineers and Data Scientists to understand, improve, and integrate components from advanced machine learning flows to sophisticated pricing algorithms.
  • Integrate and optimize complex, data-heavy system components.
  • Contribute to building cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Required hard skills:
  • Python programming with deep expertise.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Ability to write optimized, executable code, including integration with C libraries.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform (understanding, since a dedicated System Engineer handles it).
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with frontend technologies like React (basic understanding useful).
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with machine learning workflows and algorithms.
