Join IO Interactive as a Senior Platform Engineer in the Backbone team, designing and building hybrid cloud infrastructure to support AAA game development including Hitman and James Bond. Collaborate across teams to advance infrastructure automation, Kubernetes operations, and cloud platform reliability using state-of-the-art technologies.
Main requirements:
- Experience as a software development engineer in infrastructure or IT operations with automation skills.
- Expertise in Linux administration, Kubernetes, and Public Cloud platforms; experience with Private Cloud and bare metal is a plus.
- Strong networking fundamentals including load balancing, routing, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Golang for infrastructure automation and middleware development.
- Knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices such as GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proactive team player who mentors others and drives platform reliability improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Developers and IT teams to design, build, and deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement and embed DevOps best practices in infrastructure lifecycle.
- Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes-based systems focusing on reliability and maintainability.
- Support private cloud platform components including build farms, storage, and server orchestration.
- Contribute to strategic platform architecture and tooling decisions.
- Develop efficient, maintainable code in Golang to automate platform and infrastructure services.
