The Senior Expert Software Developer will work at Volvo Group, focusing on developing on-board software solutions that increase driving efficiency, safety, and driver assistance for optimized and seamless customer experiences. The role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and verifying software mainly in C++ and Adaptive Autosar frameworks, working closely with cross-functional teams, and applying expertise in energy-efficiency software for trucks. Main requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years experience in Embedded C, C#, and C++
- Expert level proficiency in Autosar (both Adaptive and Classic)
- Experience with Linux operating system
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain software applications using C++
- Utilize Adaptive Autosar frameworks to improve software functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software solutions
- Develop and deploy applications on Linux OS
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues ensuring optimal performance
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive peer feedback
- Perform verification at all levels including code reviews, unit testing, HIL, SIL, and debugging
- Stay updated with latest industry trends and technologies
Required hard skills:
